What is BackerKit?

This is where you can upgrade your pledge and choose your add-ons. BackerKit will have your pledge amount on file as well as any chosen add-ons. This will all be transferred, and you will be able to select any additional items you want as well as update your mailing address and pay for shipping. Yes, this is where shipping will be collected.

Smoke Test

I have just sent out the smoke test for BackerKit , this means that 5% of  you will receive your surveys. That's about 40 of you! After these are completed and everything is ensured to run properly I will send out the rest, about 48 hours or so. Super exciting!

The Backer Rewards Update

I am still waiting on my computer to arrive but I am expecting it to arrrive by Litha if not before. From there I can finalize some files as well as finish designing the guidebook (which is currently being edited) I am currently using an ipad and my phone to handle everthing.

I have gotten most of my add-ons situated and arranged for production. Below is a quick reference on what is going on what where I am at with things. I plan on keeping you all updtaed with the progress of these things until shipment.

Things are going smoothly so far and i am working behind the scenes on some extra goodies to go with your decks! One freebie I will be including some Practical Magic themed spreads created and contributed by Tarot_Nerds I can’t wait to share everything and begin to package orders. I will update you all when I get my computer, set it up and begin the final steps in production of this magical creation.

Progress + New Cards

I am thirlled to say that the guidebook is almost done. 

Luckily I am able to access my guidebook file through iCloud because my computer broke on the last day of Mercury Retrograde. I believe that all my files are in the cloud and I have already ordered a replacement computer since mine was from 2013, I think it was about time. Thank you universe? I am expected to have my new computer arriving between the 14th and the 21st. Once I get my computer I will be able to use my programs again to finalize guidebook pages and the box design. So just a slight hiccup but nothing major.

I have been in contact with my suppliers and things all seem to be going smoothly. 

Wooden Items are set to be produced as well as the Altar Card Packs. I have recieved the funds from the campaign and now I am placing orders today for other extra items and packaging. I am planning to get all extra goodies set up and ready for a quick fufilment process on my end. While these orders are being placed and processed, I will work on my end to setup backerkit. 

I have redesigned two of the cards and want to share them with you. I would love to know your thoughts on the new cards.

I know many of you asked about adding other items to your pledge, and you will be able to in BackerKit once it is set up and ready. Working from my iPad is a new thing for me and doing what I can with the tools I have at my grasp. Like i mentioned above, this is a slight hiccup and nothing major to worry about. I just wanted to keep everyone updated and in the loop of whats going on and where we are in the process.

New Month, More Updates

I hope you have been well. I know it has been a bit since my last update, but I wanted to wait until I had news on the deck, so yes, that's in here as well.

I have been pretty busy here on my end finishing up the guidebook. I plan on sending it out for review and edits this upcoming week. After that I just need to digitally make the pages and send out for printing!

I personally do not read with reversal or shadow cards but I have gotten some messages about these so I am including some keywords for those as well. 

Yes Witches, We did it!

I am amazed! I cannot thank you all enough.  My heart is overflowing with happiness and gratitude. The amount of love, support and excitement that you have shown The Inner Witch Tarot Deck warms my soul. I cannot wait for you all to get your decks and all the goodies as well. I am just as excited as you all are.

We ended the campaign with 763 backers. Along with that every deck purchased went to planting a tree in our beloved ecosystem. Together we will be planting 1,100 trees! I'm going to round this out to an even 1,200!!!! 

Once I collect the funds from Kickstarter I will submit the donation to OneTreePlanted.org and share it with you all! I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on where you would like these trees to be planted.

I mean, wow. What a package for every deck backer. I cannot wait for the next phase to kick off. A lot more behind the scenes work but as I said, I will definitely keep you all updated during the  process of things and what’s happening. 

Samples & Updates

Good news is that the I have gotten photo samples of some items which I will share below. I am awaiting for the physical copies to arrive for approval. Once I get funds I will be gathering the rest of my needed supplies and create the magical add-ons and backer freebies.

Deck Bags, I decided to go with the drawstring as this was more popular and requested and the production was having issues (Retrograde, am I right?) Additional bags will be available for purchase through BackerKit.

Wooden Pendulum Board samples have also been completed after two issues (oh retrograde gotta love it) But good new is that the product looks good, I plan on having them stain the wood to make a darker wood. The board is 5” and honestly, I am super excited for this!

Sabbat / Wheel of the Year Cards have been updated to include the names on the bottom as with the first initial design. The fact that not everyone has perfect vision was brought to my attention and this will help everyone easily and quickly identify each card.

Next Steps, What to expect

• Kickstarter Processes Pledges

Kickstarter has collected your pledges with the credit card linked on file. If there is an error in processing your payment, do not worry, BackerKit should still have you on file.

Kickstarter will collect all your funds and take their percentage from the campaign and send me the remaining amount. This can take from 2 up to 4 weeks.  Once I receive payment I will be reaching out to all the suppliers and gathering my materials for the backer rewards and add-ons. Once samples are received and approved I will then submit for final production. I will keep you all updated as time goes and as I receive items, create others and submit for production.

Below is a average lead time for the deck once submitted

•  Production lead time：about 35-75 days 
•  Shipping By Sea: 50-75 days can be reached 

I am aiming for you all to get your decks in September/October, if not sooner. I will be sure to keep you all updated during the process.

Wow One Week Already?!

I can't believe it's been a week since launch already. We funded in 90 minutes and as of right now we have 3 Stretch Goals Unlocked and are 277% funded with 490 backers. We keep unlocking more and more goodies for every and I absolutely love it!

We Unlocked Stretch Goal #3!

That means that every backer will be receiving a free Inner Witch Tarot Bag. Designs are still in process, I am working on a different design than a drawstring. I am currently trying to figure out the sizing for the new bags but I will keep you posted when I have more details.

Stretch Goal #4 - Let do it!

I am beyond thrilled we made it to Goal 3, but I cannot wait for us to reach and unlock goal 4! If we do, every backer will receive a free wooden tarot card holder. Perfect for you alter, desk and to hold you card or the day or the altar cards we unlocked! 

I received some samples and am really happy with the. I will be having them stained darker to better match the deck and its energy. Take a look, let me know what you think, lets unlock this goal too witches.

Stretch Goal #4 - Unlocked!

That's right witches, we've done it! We have reached the next Stretch Goal!! Every backers will be getting a free wooden tarot card holder included in their package. I have updated the Stretch Goal image on the campaign as well as the top with our achieved goals.

 I am so excited to get these made and include them in all of your packages. This is not the final finish, it will be stained darker. They are so beautiful! I received a few samples and am using them in multiple places.
