September Update

Many of you want an update on things and I wanted to wait until I had something to update with but I am still awaiting my sample deck to arrive and be approved for final production. So basically, there isn't really an update on the deck and shipping quite yet. You can review the last update here if you missed it.

All extras have arrived and are ready for shipment, I am just as eager and impatient as you all are, believe me; I mean, this is my creation. My printer told me on 9/2 they were on lockdown for the weekend but went back 9/7. I am awaiting for a followup and the sample deck on my end before moving forward as I want to ensure the product i put in the world is what i want and is to my exceptions.

I got a video of the guidebook and it looks lovely, only they printed the front on the back and the back on the front so we need to adjust that. I wanna give you all something in the meantime so below are some videos and photos in the meantime as well as a spread for the Autumn Equinox / Mabon (a freebie for you all from my patreon) Feel free to review the last post here for the new extras added to your packages.

Update on Me & Deck Process

What's happening?

I have been on hiatus and taking a break from social media as well as my shop for a few weeks now. I needed to detach and recharge myself to better move forward. After celebrating GroundedByTheMoon's 3yr birthday I realized that going constantly for 3 years is tiring and I don't want to burn out. I started creating a new card for a new deck and that's when I knew, I can't keep going, I need a break.

My apologies if you reached out during this time but I am back and the shop is reopening 9/1 and I will be making my return to social media in the next few days. I will be going through my emails and messages here on Kickstarter. Now onto the news about the deck!

Printing Update

I know that it has been awhile since the campaign ended and my last update.Communication with my original printer completely stopped without reason, leaving me to scramble and find a new printer. Luckily I was able to find a reputable one that my fellow creators have used personally.  This was also a little spotty in communication but we have been getting better. I wanted to ensure the guidebook was formatted beautifully and how I wanted before sending to production. I have already sent all files, but they are busy and with the additional printing delays it is understandable. There have been some delays in printing and I have gotten digital proofs but I am awaiting an actual physical sample because I don’t want to put something out into the world that I haven’t fully inspected myself and approve. Samples should be created and shipped out any day now and I will be sure to update you all when that happens.

My sample decks should be arriving by 9/19, and i will approve and make any necessary changes within a day and send out for final production.

BackerKit & Addresses

I have left the option open for you all to adjust and finalize your addresses as this project has hit an unexpected bump but now that we are on sooth ground again we can get everything finalized and ready.

As a thank you for the patience and support, I will be including some special freebies in your packages! I will be including a foldout booklet of Practical Magic Spreads created and contributed by Meg of @Tarot_Nerds and there will also be a Practical Magic Tarot Challenge that I have @tarotadventureswithjules working on. I am thrilled to include even more freebies for you all. Once again thank you, I can’t wait for this to be out in the world. 

I cannot thank you enough for the support and as a deck backer myself I understand the frustration and eagerness to get the deck and work with it already. I am doing everything in my power to get the wheel rolling with this new printer and produce this deck fast so I can get them, package and ship out to you!

Last 5 Days!

Wow! Over 80% of you have completed your surveys. Thank you! I wanted  to give you all a quick update to let you know that you have 8 more days to complete your BackerKit surveys. That means 8 days to finalize  your backer orders. Last chance to add any additional items to your backer package before they are finalized. Just a reminder that all cards on file will be charged 7/19.

Progress + Shipping Information

I have received the deck bags, journals and smoke wands. Altar Cards, Bookmarks, Pendulum Boards and Wooden Card Holders are approved and being printed. 

The guidebook is in the final stages and once that is ready everything will be sent for printing. Some files were lost in the transition to the new computer but it is okay. I have already sent the sample files of the cards and the box already approved.

I am hoping to receive these decks by September or October *fingers crossed* with a quick turnaround on my end. I have a lot of work ahead of me fulfilling your backer packages but it is so  much fun and also so rewarding to put a piece of myself and my magic and  send it to you.

I will let you all now and keep you updated on the deck delivery and shipping process along the way. I cannot wait to get everything together  to send to you all. Thank you again for the amazing support of this  project. Don't forget, you have 8 days to finalize your Backer packages to add on any additional items that you would like included. Many  blessings.

Yay! Summer is finally here. Hope that your solstice was magical. Good news is that my new computer finally arrived! After 5 delivery changes, it is finally here and I can begin tacking the remaining tasks for the deck and production. 

It's that time Witches!

Super excited to tell you all that BackerKit is now LIVE!!!

           735 Surveys have been sent out

Please check your emails and complete your surveys.  -- You have 25 days to complete them and finalize your payments, which should be more than enough time.

•      Orders will close ----Monday, July 18th----

Cards will be charged on the following day, Tuesday July 19th. Don't worry, I will post another update a few days prior to remind  everyone. You will also have a few attempts to retry and complete any failed payments.

Shipping is not expected to begin until September/October, as I need to get decks shipped to me first before I can send them out.

I cannot wait for you all to receive these magical packages. Be sure to checkout some of the other goodies in BackerKit.
